October is Autumn in Vietnam. If you want to visit Vietnam, you should go in October because the weather in October in Vietnam is cool and comfortable.

It is at the end of May to end of October for the southern region because it is the wet season (or monsoon season). Souhern region has 2 seasons, wet and a dry. I've been here since March 2005 and loving every minute of it. Typically it rains in the afternoon and that's the time when the sun is high up and so having the rain cooling you down is fantastic.
