Ha Noi’s Old Quarter is a great place to shop. Or, if you lack the funds, it’s a great place to window shop. Everything in the Old Quarter is organized according to product. If you want clothes, for example, head to the clothing street. All the shops here sell similar products. A small sculpture, head to the sculpture street. They even have a casket and gravestone street. The real attraction of the Old Quarter is its atmosphere. Many of the retailers are selling their own wares and some have workshops directly behind their selling spaces. The streets of The Old Quarter can be hectic, so tread with caution, and, be aware that you are expected to bargain at most shops. If you do so with goof humor, it will be a pleasant experience.
