If you have picked Vietnam as your next destination and Ha Long Bay is on your must-see list, you will not want to miss Tra Co beach at all. This beautiful beach is at the beginning of Vietnamese beach stretching along the whole country and is one of the most beautiful beach throughout Vietnam with its peak as Mui Ngoc. After the Chinese invasion in 1979 this beach was considered off-limits and all hotels and restaurants closed for a long time were opened again and still exist till now. Locals have been trying to adapt to a new tourism trend with all foreigners flooding into their small town. The service has been improved since then. Anyway, take your time and pay this neat little town a visit whenever you are in the northern area of Vietnam
