-Yes, VN is country has everything with cheap cost BUT BE AWARE :99% is low quality ,so if you don't mind (hurt your feet )then don't need pack shoes ,T-shirt ,short or medicine...ect. You can through it or give away for poor people there when you are back home. -But if you are taller than 5'11 then need bring shoes (no shoes have large size) .If you were size XL then need bring clothes,no size for this. ****PLEASE ALWAYS BRING MOSQUITO REPELLENT with you because VN is humid country so mosquitos are everywhere .Buy mosquito repellent in Vn doesn't help and affect .Bring your own.In US bring OFF product work so well overthere.

-If you plan go to North VN or moutain or central high land ( Dalat ) bring light Jacket ,it's should be enought. -Otherwise bring many shorts and T-shirt to make you comfortable because VN is tropical country ,always humid and hot ,so it make you will sweatting all day .

-If you are planting swimming on the beach ,use sun cream most the time as posible .If not, it will burn your skin badly because VN climate is not like in US .Really hot ,really sunny and easy get burn .Only swimming before 10 am and after 4pm to avoid the skin burn .It not like US ,lie down and tan all day .Sorry,not like that ,you will hurt yourself badly if do that way.

-If you bring video-camera be aware keep in box if you don't use it because the humid can ruin and damage your camera ,it won't work .Trust me my video camera got damage there. -Buy adopter because VN electric most use 220v .If you don't want lose time to shop then bring your own adopter.

Hiking

Film isnt easy to get in rural areas, so bring your owns. In some tourist places film is for sale, but propably the films has been in the sunshine for weeks/months/years and unrefrigerated. The quality isnt best, i think.

Chewing gum and pens, if you want to see happy childrens! We were in the floating village, and landed in the nearby village. The children(about 20 or so)surrounded us, and asked some chewing gum and pens. I didnt had any extra pens, but i luckily had a lot of chewing gum in my bag. You should have seen the faces!
